Bmaps is an app that aims to make barrier-free information about facilities in your city a reality. It is a map service that shares information so that people can go out with no worries about comfort or accessibility. As an application, it allows a diverse range of users, including people with disabilities, seniors, people using strollers, and foreigners to share information when they are out as they all require different kinds of information.

How can Bmaps help?

With Bmaps you’re able to navigate the facilities in your city by accessing the information provided, or even share information on particular spots. The criteria for each establishment is based on 5 levels for assessing comfort and 19 criteria for barrier-free info on the facilities and characteristics. Some criteria include: general car park, elevators, wheelchair-lending service, wheelchair-accessible toilets, nursing room, service-dog accessible, credit cards accepted, and more. Additionally, the app event allows users to filter establishments based on rankings of those with good reviews.

Bmaps is currently available for free for Androids on the Google Play Store (requires Android 4.0.3 and up) and for Apple devices on the App Store (requires iOS 9.0 or later).
