EnableMe Wins Award For Best Deployment of Technology for Inclusion

EnableMe Kenya has been recognized by the National Diversity and Inclusion Awards & Recognition during the 4th edition of the annual awards for being among the top innovations in Kenya advancing digital accessibility in the category "Best deployment of technology for inclusion." The awards ceremony took place on the 18th of March 2022 in Nairobi, Kenya.

The DIAR Awards celebrate organizations and individuals who are using technology to create positive impact in Kenya. We were awarded 1st runners up in the technology for inclusion category. 

EnableMe uses technology to bridge the access to community and information for persons with disabilities gap. This is done by enabling persons with disabilities to get peer to peer support through the community. Additionally, the platform also functions as an information portal for persons with disabilities and stakeholders within the disability inclusion space. Lastly, the platform provides access to employment opportunities through career support and empowerment, though the community platform while creating a bigger and diverse talent pool for recruiters looking to hire persons with disabilities.

EnableMe's use of technology is ending the exclusion of persons with disabilities from the future.
