What is RoboBraille?

RoboBraille is a service for both web and phone which allows users to easily convert documents into a variety of alternate formats intended for blind or visually impaired individuals. The variety of output documents/files are especially useful in educational settings or in daily life for the visually and reading impaired. It aims to increase access to digital components for all people to reduce any inequalities. 

How can RoboBraille help?

RoboBraille is a great service to use when trying to increase accessibility to previously inaccessible files. Some capabilities of the service include: 

  • converting text to MP3 audio, braille, or E-book format. 

  • Converting certain file types such as image files in GIF, TIFF, JPG, PNG, and image-only PDF into more accessible formats including tagged PDF, DOC, DOCX, and more. 

After the conversion process is complete, the output file will be sent to an email address you provide.
